Not just cotton.....

One of the fibres/materials that is worth exploring using a dual lucet is leather. This is a version of a loose square braid that uses less that a foot of raw material for every finished inch of braid, working directly from the spool. For this bracelet I used the shorter pronged end as the leather thickness is 1.5 mm. The great thing about the leather is the material itself which allows me to weave in the tail threads securely several times, not having to use any glue. This tackiness does make the condensed braids more challenging to create, though.
